Silver Ghost
A unique hybrid RTS/Action/RPG game first released in 1988. It was the first game by Kure Software Koubou and introduced their eventually popular Multiple Character gameplay system that they went on to use in many later games.
Legacy
The gameplay of Silver Ghost gave rise to the First Queen (Franchise) series later that same year. It was also a precursor to the RTS (Real-Time Strategy) genre later defined by Herzog Zwei (Game) and Dune II. The game is perhaps best known outside of Japanfor its influence on Hiroyuki Takahashi (Person), the creator of the Shining Force (Franchise) series. Takahashi cited this game as his main inspiration for Shining Force (Game).
