Players take control of a Red Ninja (identified on the box as Joe Musashi (Character)), and can choose to play as his disciples wearing pink, yellow, green, and blue after rescuing them. Gained a sequel known as Shinobi II: The Silent Fury, b/k/a The GG Shinobi II.
