Development
Sadness was announced as a motion-controlled 3D horror game, being developed by Nibris (Company) for the Nintendo Wii. After a long series of delays and periods of silence, the game was widely considered vaporware until Nibris' closure in 2010 marked its official cancellation. In 2014, HullBreach Studios (Company) announced they were working on a 2D reboot of Sadness but since they did not own the Sadness IP rights, they were forced to cut ties with the name and eventually renamed their Sadness-inspired 2D horror RPG Sadness andamp;amp;amp; Solitude.
