Run and Gun, known in Japan as Slam Dunk, is a basketball game developed and released by Konami (Company) for arcades in 1993.
A fast-paced arcade-style five-on-five basketball game, Run and Gun is known for its "baseline" camera perspective (heavily utilizing the arcade hardware's sprite scaling), in which the player's team is moving upward on offense and moving downward on defense. It also features two-on-two four-player multiplayer in either single-cabinet or dual-cabinet configurations) (the latter of which changes the camera on the second cabinet to match their team's perspective). Although it is not licensed with the National Basketball Association (Concept), it includes facsimiles of the NBA's roster.
The game later received a sequel, known as Run and Gun 2 (Game).
