Overview
Real Robots Final Attack is a 3D sci-fi third-person mecha combat game published by Banpresto for the Sony PlayStation exclusively in Japan on January 8, 1998.
A crossover game that features mechs from various mecha anime owned by Banpresto, most notably the various Gundam (Franchise) series, Real Robots Final Attack plays similar to Sega's Virtual-On series of fast-paced arena-based mecha combat games and is sometimes considered both a spin-off of the Super Robot Taisen (Franchise) series and a precursor to the Gundam Vs. series.
Banpresto later used the "Real Robot" name for two crossover turn-based strategy games: Real Robot Battle Line (Game) and Real Robot Regiment (Game).
