RPG Maker VX
RPG Maker VX is a tool for Windows which allows you to design and play your own RPG. It requires no programming knowledge and allows the designer to create their own tilesets, character sprites, and scripts.
Developed by Enterbrain and the successor to RPG Maker XP (Game).
Reception
The response to the game has generally been mixed. It has gotten positive feedback due it being easier to use than previous RPG-making programs. On the other hand, the battle system has been criticized for abandoning battle backgrounds which were featured in RPG maker XP, and the fact that most action is text-based.
