Overview

Postbird in Provence is a mail-delivery adventure game developed by students at the ISART Digital school. It was released for PC on June 30, 2021.

Story

Postbird in Provence follows the story of Marcel, who moves to Montélimace to become the town's new mail carrier, and must first pass the preliminary test before being officially hired. Through delivering packages, Marcel meets the various residents of Montélimace, and helps out with odd tasks around town.

Inspect packages to find the recipient

The game is completed once all three packages have been delivered to their owners. To do this, the player inspects each package to look for stickers that match an icon on the game's map, indicating where the package is to do delivered to. Once the game is completed, the game can be loaded up again to finish the optional tasks the game offers.

The game offers various side tasks to complete including watering plants, picking up trash, and multiple forms of collectibles. An in-game achievement list keeps track of progress made on these tasks.

Side activities also include jumping ramps

A level system gives points for delivering packages, completing side tasks, and general good deeds done for the town. Upon reaching a new level, a visual upgrade for Marcel's hat is received.
