Overview
Point Blank DS, known in Japan as Unou no Tatsujin: Gunbullet Trainer, is a mini-game collection developed and published by Bandai Namco for the Nintendo DS (Platform) in Japan on May 18, 2006, in North America on June 13, 2006, and in Europe on December 8, 2006.
Part of the Point Blank (Franchise) series of light-gun mini-games, Point Blank DS features classic games in the series that makes use of the touch screen. It also features single-card Download Play (Concept) multiplayer and playable recreations of four of Namco's classic electro-mechanical arcade games (Shoot Away II, Cosmo Gang, Gator Panic, and Cracky Crab).
The game is also part of the Unou no Tatsujin (Franchise) series of brain training games, and features a bonus "Brain Massage" mode with multiple curated series of mini-games and a grading system based on certain cognitive functions (such as precision, attention, and judgement).
