POD: Planet of Death
POD: Planet of Death is a Futuristic Racing by Ubisoft in 1997. It was designed with the Intel MMX processors in mind and was included as a box set on many computers. A retail version called pod 2.0 was also released with support for 3Dfx voodoo, S3 virge and ATI
An expansion pack called POD: Back to Hell was also released, including 8 extra cars and 16 more tracks. Another version called POD: Gold was later released which included POD, its expansion, plus a new sound set. Good Old Games released a version of POD which can run on modern computers and Holger Bredel has posted instructions to get the original pod to run on modern computers on his blog.
