Overview
Offroad Thunder is an over-the-top off-road racing game developed and released by Midway for arcades (using their PC (Platform)-based Quicksilver II hardware) on September 21, 1999.
The second in the "Thunder" trilogy of over-the-top racing games (after Hydro Thunder (Game)), Offroad Thunder brings a more arcade take on off-road racing. It is sometimes considered a spiritual successor to both Super Off Road and Off Road Challenge (Game).
It was later included in the Midway Arcade Treasures 3 (Game) compilation.
