GAME » on March 30, 1990
A PC Engine exclusive version of the popular Kunio-kun dodgeball game, with added features and a graphical update.

Overview

Nekketsu Koukou Dodgeball Bu: PC Bangai-Hen ("Hot-Blooded Highschool Dodgeball Part: PC Extra Edition") is a PC Engine version of Technos Japan's Nekketsu Koukou Dodgeball, best known in the US as Super Dodge Ball (Game). Developed by Kid and published by Naxat Soft, PC Bangai-Hen is a distinct entry in the Super Dodge Ball series that cribs from both the original Arcade and NES versions in its construction. Players can go through either the Arcade Mode, which is simply a string of consecutive matches, or the Quest Mode, which follows a story between each match. Exclusive to the PC Engine for years, the game was eventually added to the Wii's Virtual Console in 2008. Neither the PC Engine or Virtual Console versions were made available outside of Japan.
