The first of two Namco compilations for PlayStation to focus on console games Namco previously developed.
Overview
Namco Anthology Vol. 1 is a compilation which features four older Namco games made specifically for consoles, rather than the arcade. Each game is preserved in its original state but also offers an enhanced mode which improves graphics and makes other tweaks. Namco Anthology Vol. 1 was followed by Namco Anthology Vol. 2 a few months later in September.
