NFL's Greatest: San Francisco Vs. Dallas 1978-1993, known in-game as NFL's Greatest: San Francisco Vs. Dallas, is a full-motion video American football game developed by Park Place Productions (Company) and published by Sega (Company) (as part of their Sega Sports line) for the Sega CD (Platform), exclusively in North America, in October 1993.
Sometimes considered a spiritual successor to the early-to-mid 80's arcade game NFL Football, NFL's Greatest puts players in a coaching role as they choose plays for their team and passively watch the results. Each result is depicted in full motion video format, clipped from fifteen years of televised games between the two titular NFL teams of the San Francisco 49ers (Concept) and the Dallas Cowboys (Concept).
The game released around the same time as two other NFL games: the more traditional Joe Montana's NFL Football, and NFL Football Trivia Challenge (Game).
