Story

The mysterious figure about to bring a character to life

Classic book characters are being brought into real life by an unknown force. Charles Dickens daughter enlists the help of the player to not only find her father and Washington Irving, but to also put an end to whatever it is bringing these characters to life.

Gameplay

In Midnight Mysteries: Ghostwriting players use point and click style gameplay to find objects, hidden object scenes, and puzzles to advance the story. Objects that are obtained through the various means are used by clicking them in the inventory and then clicking on the object in the environment for it to interact with.

The hidden object scenes in Midnight Mysteries: Ghostwriting give the player a list of objects at the bottom of the screen. Each of these objects must be found and clicked on in order to cross it off the list. Once all the items are found the hidden object scene is completed and the player is given an item to help them progress.
