Lightbringer
Lightbringer is an adventure game set on Mars. It was developed by Aneiva Interactive, and published by Dreamcatcher Interactive.
The Plot
Lightbringer is set in the future when earth has become too overpopulated to sustain the human race. To solve this problem, you and two other crew members are sent on the first manned mission to Mars to investigate the planet for possible colonization. This sets up the main story of Lightbringer, in which you discover aliens on Mars.
The Game
Lightbringer is an adventure game that uses pre-rendered video sequences to transition the player between views where some sort of puzzle is presented, usually in the form of clicking on various objects to store in inventory, or enter the correct combination of items or actions to unlock the next sequence.
