Overview
Lane Mastodon vs. The Blubbermen was the first of Infocom (Company)'s Infocomics line of interactive comics. The comic was a spoof of 1930's style science fiction adventures, and was written by Steve Meretzky. In 2029 the earth is overrun by the Blubbermen from space and only Lane can stop them. A promotional issue of the Lane Mastodon comic was released. Issue number 91 in which "Lane battles the Shameless Leather Goddess," a reference to The Leather Goddess of Phobos, another Infocom game. The issue was printed in red/blue 3D.
