Japanese-only remake of the two original Megami Tensei games, released for the Super Famicom in 1995.
Overview
Kyūyaku Megami Tensei (Megami Tensei: The Old Testament) was released by Atlus (Company) for the Super Famicom in 1995 following the success of the Shin Megami Tensei (Franchise) games. Kyūyaku contains remakes of the first two Megami Tensei (Franchise) games, featuring significant graphical improvements over their Famicom originals. Other additions include:
- 2 entirely original introductory scenes.
- Save functionality, rather then the cumbersome password system of the original games.
- A new arranged soundtrack handled by renowned composer Hitoshi Sakimoto (Person).
