Jack Nicklaus' Greatest 18 Holes of Major Championship Golf is a behind-the-back golf simulation game developed by Sculptured Software and published by Accolade for DOS PCs, Amiga (Platform), Atari ST (Platform), Amstrad CPC (Platform), Commodore 64 (Platform), Macintosh, and Apple IIgs (Platform) in 1988-1989. It also received releases for Japanese computers by Victor Entertainment (Company) in 1989-1990, including the Sharp X68000 (Platform), NEC PC-98, NEC PC-88, and MSX (Platform), and for the Nintendo Entertainment System (Platform) by Konami (Company) in March 1990.

The first in Accolade's series of golf games featuring professional golfer Jack Nicklaus (Person), Jack Nicklaus' Greatest 18 Holes of Major Championship Golf features a unique course comprised of holes from several golf courses throughout the world. Some versions of the game also include two courses Nicklaus designed himself (the Castle Pines Golf Club at Castle Rock, Colorado and the Desert Mountain Golf Club at Scottsdale, Arizona), with additional courses released as expansion disks. It is also one of the earliest games to include "skins" scoring as an option.

It also received ports to both the TurboGrafx-16 and TurboGrafx-CD in 1990-1991, with multiple variations:

The original Japanese PC Engine release includes the "Jack's Greatest 18" course, while the English TurboGrafx-16 release, known as Jack Nicklaus' Turbo Golf, instead includes the add-on "Australian Golf Club" course.
Both the Japanese PC Engine CD-ROM release (known as Jack Nicklaus' World Tour Golf) and the English TurboGrafx-CD release (known as Jack Nicklaus' Turbo Golf) ignores the "Jack's Greatest 18" course for five of the game's add-on courses (Castle Pines Golf Club, Royal Troon Golf Club, Kemper Lakes Golf Club, Australian Golf Club, and Saint Creek Golf Club).

The game received multiple sequels throughout the 1990's, beginning with Jack Nicklaus' Unlimited Golf and Course Design.

Jack's Greatest 18

This course is unique in that, rather than being one particular course, it contains holes from several other golf courses throughout the world (including Augusta National Golf Club (Location), Pebble Beach Golf Links (Location), Old Course at St. Andrews, Riviera Country Club Golf Course (Location), Baltusrol Golf Club, Muirfield, Oakmont Country Club, Merion Golf Club, and Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club).

The introduction of each hole has a little tidbit, most of which are quotes from Jack himself (presumably).
