A role-playing game focused on schoolchildren who aim to be the best soccer players in Japan.

Chronicle Mode

An original story mode from the POV of a boy named Victorio Cryptix and his companion Clark von Wonderbear, a super-intelligent teddy bear, as they travel through time and space to relive historical battles throughout the Inazuma Eleven franchise and return with a "Fighting Spirit" capable of defeating the evil Mind Eater. As Victorio, the player can acquire over 5200 different players from over 150 teams to create their custom team and take on different opponents.

Story Mode

A new, original story in the Inazuma Eleven universe where the player takes control of Destin Bellows as he looks to revive his school's struggling Football Club. Destin can find various spots around his school and the surrounding town to play soccer, build social links with almost any classmate to convince them to join his Club, and participate in friendlies and 5v5 matches before before taking on full teams to advance the story.

Competition Mode

Players can simply jump into a match with a preselected team and players, or ones they customized beforehand, either to fight an AI opponent or another Inazuma Eleven player online. Players can use the Action Mode to control their players directly, or use a revamped Commander Mode to act as an invisible coach and focus on strategy and tactics while the AI controls the actions on the ground.

Kizuna Station

Players can create their own avatar and "Bond Town" to roam around in, decorated with items won from other modes, and can challenge visitors to fight with or against them in competitive soccer matches.
