Homefront: The Revolution is the sequel to Homefront (Game). Set after itself, a resistance fights North Korean invasion in Philadelphia.
Development
Homefront: The Revolution, announced as Homefront 2, began development at Kaos Studios (Company); however, after closing, Crytek UK (Company) began development. Once THQ (Company) filed for bankruptcy, liquidating its intellectual properties, Crytek purchased Homefront; and Deep Silver (Company) became publisher. After Crytek's financial struggles, Homefront was sold to Deep Silver and Deep Silver Dambuster Studiosbegan development.
