The spiritual successor to the over-the-top powerboat racing arcade game Hydro Thunder, made by some of the same team (including the original creator).
Overview
H2Overdrive is an over-the-top powerboat racing game developed by Specular Interactive (Company) and released by Raw Thrills (Company) for arcades in May 2009. Developed by former Midway San Diego employees, H2Overdirve is a spiritual successor to the 1999 racing game Hydro Thunder (Game). While it plays nearly identical to the original it includes some new features (such as an account system, for players to track stats and unlockables, and the ability to perform stunts).
