Overview

Gundam Try Age (also known as Gundam Tri Age or Gundam TryAge) is a collectible card-based strategy game released by Bandai for arcades in Japan on July 28, 2011. Part of Bandai's Data Carddass arcade game series and based on the Gundam (Franchise) series, Gundam Try Age has players manipulating a platoon of three Mobile Suits in battle by moving around real-life collectible cards (including Mobile Suit cards and Pilot cards) on a large flat surface reader (similar to Dragon Ball Heroes (Game)). Although the game originally included mobile suits (and their corresponding pilots) from the original series, Gundam 0083, Gundam 00, and Gundam Unicorn, the game's primary focus was the new Gundam AGE. It received several major and minor updates, adding content from several new and old Gundam series, before being discontinued on May 31, 2021. It later received a sequel, known as Kidou Senshi Gundam: Arsenal Base. It also received a home release in 2014 with the Nintendo 3DS game Gundam Try Age SP (Game).
