Galaxicus is a 3D space empire building game where players try to become Emperor by competing against one another in four-week wars. Organizing wars into four-week cycles flattens the playing field, allowing new players to compete more quickly against experienced ones. The game has origins in the CompuServe era of the mid-1970s.
