Overview
Gaiapolis, known in Japan as Gaiapolis: Koganedaka no Ken ("Sword of the Golden Hawk") is a high-fantasy overhead action RPG developed and released by Konami (Company) for arcades in 1993. As one of three warriors (the human prince Gerard Himerce, the agile half-fairy Elain Shee, and the durable half-dragon Duke Galahad), up to two players can take on a journey to reach Gaiapolis and destroy the evil god Mordred. It features an experience system, where players can level up for a health boost, and a password system, which was a rarity in arcade games.
