Flipnote Studio 3D is a free drawing tool allows for the creation of three separate layers which can be viewed in stereoscopic 3D on the Nintendo 3DS and exported to GIF and AVI formats.
Overview
Flipnote Studio 3D featured a Friend Gallery service in Japan upon launch which was shut down after an incident involving inappropriate material being sent to minors in the Nintendo 3DS Swapnote app which caused Nintendo to shut down all services accessible by minors that could lead to another scenario like this. The release dates of Flipnote Studio 3D for PAL regions and North America had been postponed until early 2015 when Nintendo announced that registrants of their new loyalty program would receive a free download of Flipnote Studio 3D.
