Overview
"Fantasy Waifu Collector" is an original indie game inspired by "gacha" style games. Players progress through the game from a humble beginning of having just one character, to building an army in order to overthrow the Demon King. While it supports online service features, it can also be run offline as a single-player experience with only the online multiplayer aspects disabled. Unlike greed-based gacha-game mechanics, this game offers a refreshing approach around a gameplay centered design. The game started development in November 2022. In July of 2023 it was released publicly for free in "Alpha" state, with development of core mechanics continuing through the end of 2024. At the start of 2025, it entered a "Beta" state, being released on Steam, with an estimated release date of Q4 2025.
