Overview
Evil Dead: The Game is a multiplayer-oriented third-person survival horror game developed by Saber Interactive (Company) and published digitally by both Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games (Company) for the PlayStation 5 (Platform), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One (Platform), PlayStation 4 (Platform), and PC (Platform) on May 13, 2022. An adaptation of the Evil Dead (Franchise) film and television franchise, Evil Dead: The Game puts up to four players as characters from throughout the Evil Dead universe against the forces of the Kandarian Demon (who can be controlled by a fifth player). The game received additional characters and costumes as DLC. On February 2, 2023, it also received a second game mode, known as Splatter Royale, which pits up to 40 players (as Deadites) against each other in a standard last-man-standing "battle royale" scenario (with a shrinking map and random loot). A Nintendo Switch (Platform) version was announced, but was later cancelled.
