Home computer 1st-person gameplay

Primarily released as a game for home computers, DragonStrike put players in control of a dragon from a first-person perspective, completing 20 set missions, going through a rank system and gaining magical abilities. NES top-down gameplay

Somewhat drastically different when it eventually came to the Nintendo Entertainment System two years later, DragonStrike shifted the whole perspective of the game to a top-down style shooter with a higher emphasis on action rather than simulation. Basic gameplay elements stayed consistent with the home computer release, with battles between dragons and enemy convoy a central focus.
