Overview
Disintegration is a sci-fi first-person vehicular combat / real-time strategy game developed by V1 Interactive (Company) and published by Private Division (Company) for the Xbox One (Platform), PlayStation 4 (Platform), and PC (Platform) on June 16, 2020. The first game by V1 Interactive (founded by Marcus Lehto (Person), the co-creator of the Halo (Franchise) series), Disintegration combines real-time strategy gameplay (of commanding units) with first-person vehicular combat (as players pilot a hovering Gravcycle, which are used to give orders and provide aerial support). Along with a single-player campaign, the game includes online multiplayer supporting up to 10 players at a time. The story is set 150 years into the future, where societal collapse led a group of scientists to develop "integration": a process of transferring human brains into robotic bodies to ease consuming of Earth's resources. Players control Romer Shoal, an "integrated" Gravcycle pilot who leads a group of other integrated outlaws against Rayonne (a military superpower that began forcing all humans to conform to integration).
