Dex is a sidescrolling cyberpunk action/stealth-RPG funded through Kickstarter. Inspired by classic cyperpunk novels, the game lets players explore the hand-drawn city of Harbor Prime.
Overview
Dex was developed by Dreadlocks, a Czech studio who funded the game through Kickstarterin December 2013 with a total of £30,647 (more than twice of what they asked for).
Following an early access release in late 2014, the final version of Dex hit PC, Linux, Mac via digital distribution platforms, on May 7, 2015. Wii U, PS4, Xbox One and PSVita versions will follow in 2016 with support from Spanish publisher Badland Indie. The planned Ouya version was canceled.
