Dan Dare: Pilot of the Future is the first of three home computer games.
Overview
This game was popular in the United Kingdom. Dan Dare was the lead character of the central strip of The Eagle comic. The Eagle comic being itself a U.K. based comic. The graphical style of the game draws on the orginal fifties version of Dan Dare, as opposed the version of Dan Dare used in the Eagle in the era of the games production.
Gameplay
Dan Dare 1 is a fairly standard 2D shoot 'em up platformer with some puzzle elements as well.
