Cyber Cycles is a 3D motorcycle racing game developed and released by Namco (Company) for arcades (using their System 22 hardware) in 1995.

From the studio behind Ridge Racer (Game), Cyber Cycles puts players in control of one of three different types of motorcycles in two courses (one of which is a recreation from Suzuka 8 Hours 2 (Game)), with three different viewpoints to choose from.

The game was sold as sit-down motorcycle-style arcade cabinets (in both standard and deluxe format, the latter of which uses 50" projection displays) in pairs of two, which can be linked up for four-player racing.

Gameplay

The game includes two courses to choose from: the three-lap beginner course Green Hill (which is a 3D recreation of the course from Suzuka 8 Hours 2 (Game)) and the two-lap expert course Neo Yokohama. Players choose from one of three motorcycles to race with:

Anthias is a novice electric bike that is lightweight for easier handling, at the cost of speed. A hidden cheat code in the Japanese version can have players race as an electric scooter driven by a cartoon penguin (Bari-pen), which has its own goofy theme music and sound effects.
NVR 750R is an intermediate sports bike that is balanced for both speed and handling. A hidden cheat code in the Japanese version can have players race with a faster NVR 750R-SP version.
Wild Hog is an advanced cruiser that is heavier and powerful for high speed, but requires heavy use of power sliding for cornering.
