Overview
Critters is a single-screen shoot-'em-up developed by Syntax Software (Company) and published by Rabbit Software, exclusively for the Commodore VIC-20. It was released on July 26, 1983.
The players control a farmer during a famine in the far-future year of 1994, who must protect their cherry crops from hungry birds. The birds swoop down from the sky in patterns, similar to Galaxian, and the farmer runs left to right with their gun. If the birds take all of the cherries from the farmer, the game is over.
