A platform game developed by Apex Computer Productions that was released in 1990 for the C64. The 16 bit conversions for Atari ST and Amiga were made by WJS Design and released in 1992 (Atari ST) or 1993 (Amiga).

Clyde Radcliffe Exterminates All The Ugly Repulsive Earth-ridden Slime or CREATURES as it was more commonly known was published in 1990 by Thalamus Ltd for the Commodore 64.
Developed by Apex Computer Productions the game was a 2D side scrolling platformer that featured the hero Clyde Radcliffe (Character) setting out across the lands to rescue his fuzzy wuzzy buddies and defeat the various monsters that had taken over.

Even though it featured very colourful and some might say cute graphics it contained a lot of gore for the time (albeit cartoon gore) especially between levels where had to rescue his buddies from an over the top torture device. This concept was later used far more extensively in the games sequel Creatures 2: Torture Trouble.
A very popular game which received high review scores for its solid gameplay, great graphics and jaunty soundtrack.
