Overview
Simple 2000 Series Vol. 102: The Hohei - Senjou no Inutachi (loosely translated to "The Soldier: Dogs of the Battlefield"), known in Europe as Covert Command, is a World War II (Concept) tactical third-person shooter developed by Tamsoft and published by D3 Publisher for the PlayStation 2 (Platform) in Japan on August 3, 2006 and in Europe on September 28, 2007. Set in World War II, players take the role of a lone Allied soldier completing various missions behind enemy lines and earning new weapons and skill upgrades. It received a handheld conversion for the Nintendo DS (Platform), released exclusively in Japan on August 30, 2007 as Simple DS Series Vol. 21: The Hohei - Butai de Shutsugeki! Senjou no Inutachi (loosely translated to "Set out with your troops! Dogs of the Battlefield"). This version features both wireless and online multiplayer for up to four players. It received a second handheld port for the Nintendo 3DS (Platform) on November 6, 2013 as @Simple DL Series Vol. 22: The Hohei - Senjou no Inutachi, as well as a PSP sequel.
