Code Romantic is an educational visual novel. It teaches computer science and programming through puzzles. The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the @ware virus has created a legion of sentient machines bent on destroying humanity. The main character, Mina Lovelace, joins the ReProgrammer Academy to learn how to hack into the enemy and save the world. Along the way, she becomes partners with Leon Morgenstern, her childhood crush that has spent his life delivering propaganda for the government.
