Clockwork Knight 2, known in-game as Clockwork Knight 2: Pepperouchau's Adventure and in Japan as Clockwork Knight: Pepperouchau no Daibouken - Gekan, is a 2.5D comedic fantasy platformer developed and published by Sega for the Sega Saturn in Japan on July 28, 1995, in Europe on October 27, 1995, and in North America on February 17, 1996.
A sequel to the original Clockwork Knight (Game), released less than a year after the original, Clockwork Knight 2 puts plays back in the role of Sir Tongara de Pepperouchau III (Character) directly after the events of the previous game, as he sets off to rescue the kidnapped Clockwork Fairy Princess Chelsea again (this time with the help of his trusty steed Barobaro and his rival Ginger).
The game later received a single-disc compilation in Japan a half-a-year after its original release, known as Clockwork Knight: Pepperouchau no Fukubukuro. It was soon revealed that the North American release of this game is actually the compilation disc with the menu not having an option for the original game (which was revealed nearly 30 years later to be accessible with a cheat code).
Players then fight the final boss, "Galuch the Dragon".
