Clockwiser, also known as Clockwiser: Time is Running Out..., is a puzzle game developed by Team Hoi (Company) and published by Rasputin Software (Company) for the Amiga (Platform), the Amiga CD32 (Platform), and DOS PC computers in Europe in 1994.

Each level in Clockwiser gives players a limited amount of time to manipulate the left playfield to look exactly like the right playfield by forming a box of lines with their cursor, then shifting all blocks the lines touch either clockwise or counter-clockwise. While the game starts simple enough, players have to tend to gravity, unmovable blocks, exploding bombs, and self-duplicating diamonds. The Amiga and CD32 versions have 100 levels, with the DOS version adding 10 bonus levels. All versions use a password system, and have built-in editors for custom levels.

The game later received an updated free-to-play release for online browsers in 2008, developed and released by some original members of Team Hoi. It featured updated graphics and music, move count tracking, and a player account system for record-keeping. It also received ports to iOS and Android (Platform) devices in the early 2010's, featuring touch support and an updated interface (with tablet mode showing the move counter and phone mode allowing players to switch between the playfield and goal display using a button). All of these versions were later discontinued and delisted, with the browser version made unplayable.

Blocks

  • Gravity Blocks - Can be shifted or destroyed, and are affected by gravity. There are five colors of blocks in total (red, orange, green, cyan, and blue).
  • Brick Walls - Similar to Gravity Blocks, but are not affected by gravity.
  • Metallic Elements - Cannot be shifted or destroyed, and are not affected by gravity.
  • Sandstone Elements - Similar to Metallic Elements, but can be destroyed.
  • De-gravitisers - Similar to Gravity Blocks, but all blocks above it (between it and the next block not affected by gravity) are no longer affected by gravity once this block is settled.
  • Transporter Pods - Similar to Brick Walls, but teleports all blocks that land on it to the other side of the other Transporter Pod. If there's no other Transporter Pod, or if there's no room, the blocks are instead destroyed.
  • Bombs - Similar to Gravity Blocks, but any falling impact causes it to destroy itself and all surrounding blocks.
  • Diamonds - Similar to Gravity Blocks, but any falling impact causes it to replace all blocks around it, even empty spaces, with duplicates of itself.
