Overview

Bishōjo Control ("Girl's Control") is an unlicensed Japanese erogetop-down shooter first developed and published for the MSX (Platform) by HARD (Company) on July 21st, 1989. The game was later ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System (Platform) by Wild and Hacker International (Company).

Gameplay

Known primarily for its titillation and vulgarity, the game combines basic vertically-scrolling shooter mechanics with the objective of collecting puzzle blocks that form a jigsaw puzzle picture of a naked woman. Ship upgrades can also be used to transform the player's ship into a phallic shape complete with a condom shield system, with enemies also taking on the form of pants, syringes, scissors and mouths. While these upgrades need to be unlocked in the original MSX version, the NES release uses these as its default state.
