Bishi Bashi Special
GAME » on July 7, 2000
Bishi Bashi Special was the only game from the Bishi Bashi series to be released outside of Japan. It is essentially a large amount of mini-games like the WarioWare series but with stranger themes and multiplayer support.

Overview

Bishi Bashi Special is a multiplayer party game compilation developed by Konami that features two game modes Super Bishi Bashi and Hyper Bishi which features 85 mini-games. Each player is given three buttons to hit, each of which serves a different purpose dependent on the mini-game. The game, and the series, is known for its fast pace and surreal presentation. The European Bishi Bashi Special draws its mini-games from two previous Japan-only PS1 compilations, Bishi Bashi Special and Bishi Bashi Special 2, which in turn were created from cherrypicking mini-games from the Arcade Bishi Bashi games Bishi Bashi Champ, Super Bishi Bashi Champ, Handle Champ, Hyper Bishi Bashi Champ and Gachaga Champ. The game was only released in Europe in 2000. It would also later become part of the "PSOne Classics" range for PlayStation Network (Concept).
