Bearzerkers
Bearzerkers is a local multiplayer game where players play as one of a group of small digging animals in a fight for survival.
BEARZERKERS consists of a competitive and a cooperative mode, each with different gameplay foundations. '<ins>Hunt - </ins>'<u>Competitive</u> In Hunt, players are pitted against each other and the environment as they try to survive the AI bears that are chasing them. Each player has the ability to dig up rocks walls behind them that block other players movement- making it more likely for the bears to eat them. Powerups spawn around the map for players to collect, which gives them temporary abilities. <ins>Gauntlet - Cooperative/Single Player</ins> In Gauntlet, players are tasked with making their way through a linear set of level segments in a deadly robotics lab. Players die instantly if they touch any dangerous obstacles, and have a shared limited pool of lives to make it through the whole level. Each player starts with the abilities to slow down time around them, or teleport short distances. As they progress through the level, players earn skill points to spend on either improving those abilities or other base stats such as speed.
