Perform basic math problems on the Atari 2600. The game was also known as "Fun with Numbers".
Overview
Basic Math is just that: a rather bare-bones application that tasks users with math problems. Like many Atari 2600 (Platform) games, players can choose between several modes that adjust the gameplay; in this case the modes consist of different calculations. Basic Math was a launch title for the 2600 in 1977. Like Math Gran Prix (Game) years later, this was an attempt by Atari (Company) to show that video games could be educational as well as fun.
