Baltron
Famicom shooter that's a bit similar to Defender. It was developed by Shouei Systems (a.k.a. Bear's) and published by Toei.
Overview
Baltron is a side-scrolling shoot-em-up that plays similarly to Defender (Game), in that there's a small mini-map "radar" at the top that tells the player where the enemies are. It also superficially resembles Konami's Gradius (Game), or Irem's R-Type, but lacks the (then) in-depth upgrade systems of those two games.
