BOAA (acronym for: Bounty On An Asteroid) is a cross-platform, top-down, 2D action platformer. A Comedic Space Opera with an Afrofuturism theme set 3500 years into the future, the game is fast past with a new perspective on platformers.
Overview
BOAA (acronym for: Bounty On An Asteroid) is a new genre of 2D platformer: Top-down Hopper. The theme of BOAA is that of Afrofuturism (the blending of African traditional culture and Sci-fi). BOAA is Comedic Space Opera set 3500 years into the future; in a sector of space dominated by bounty hunter activity. These bounty hunters take on extremely risky and clandestine missions on behalf of Mega Corporations, corporations that don’t want to be seen as dealing in the grey and black markets.
Development
The development of BOAA follows a methodology dubbed "Open Development" where-by the game is playable live whilst it is being actively developed.
