The Captain and Taffy begin their first day on the job at Nova City's historic "Anomaly Countermeasure Division" (A.C.D.), only to discover a dilapidated building, no other employees, and no sign that the ACD exists anymore outside of the two of them. The ACD's functions were supposedly folded into Nova City's main police force, the Nova City Crime Agency (N.C.C.A.), but they seem to not take the threat of encroaching Chaos seriously enough. Taffy soon convinces The Captain to start taking on odd jobs himself to clean up the city and fulfill the original mission of the ACD, while she records The Captain's exploits on video and posts them on social media, giving him the nickname "The Yeetmaster." The two of them hoping the increased attention from the public and mass media will help restore the ACD to its original state and allow them to recruit more employees.
The Captain - the player character, constantly beleaguered by forces and people outside of their control. However, what is not in question is their fighting skills and adaptability.
Shi Ye - The Captain's old friend who has become a fixer in Lingyun. She knows how to handle the cash, and where everything important is, throughout the city.
Taffy - The Captain's ally who thought the ACD would be an easy job with a big payday. Instead, she's forced to do gig deliveries, so she has founded the "Yeet Squad" to hype up The Captain and their accomplishments in hopes that their popularity will lead to a better job.
Richie - A policewoman for the NCCA in Nova City who seems aloof at first, but is incredibly competent when bringing criminals to justice and handling guns.
Wei Yinglong - the Director of the temple and the unofficial leader of Longqi.
Seymour - A master hacker in Nova City who lives in an RV and hides his face behind a cartoon mask. There's no system Seymour can't hack into, assuming the job is worth his time.
Wide range of combat: hand-to-hand skills allowing the player to fight multiple enemies at once, inspired from more Hong Kong cinema rather than flashy combos and ultimates. Plus there's a wide range of weapons from a golf club to a rocket launcher that can be used to fight many different enemies.
Traversal: The player can pilot a wide range of vehicles like boats and cars. And if that's too boring, the Captain can swing from the rooftops like Spiderman.
Minigames: From racing games to basketball to watching movies and even some dating mechanics, this game has something for everyone.
The City: Nova City will be the core of the game, a city roughly the size of Manhattan, with several buildings the player can enter. Player can own a house in the city with some customization to come. Also announced is the city of Lingyun, the Captain's hometown, a sprawling city that combines traditional Chinese architecture with modern technology.
Multiplayer
Unlike many other the game has cut plans for gacha for characters, instead allowing them to be picked up while playing the game. Monetization will be focused on letting players buy new outfits and vehicles for their Captain.
