Action Mahjong (known in Japan as 4-Riuchi Action Mahjong, loosely translated to "4-Player Action Mahjong") is a deliberately-retro multiplayer block-pushing action-puzzle game developed and digitally published by Mindware for the PC on Feburary 24, 2017. Based on the 1983 Kiwako arcade game Mr. Jong (and using the same graphics), Action Mahjong has four players (either human or CPU-controlled) navigating a playfield full of sliding mahjong tiles that can be pushed in each direction (similar to the 1982 game Pengo! (Game)). Each player has a mahjong hand (with tiles that can be discarded by the player), and players must push tiles into their hole to add to it. The first player to have a winning hand wins the round (and gains points based on the hand's yaku value).
