APOX
APOX, a game developed by BlueGiant Interactive, is a RTS style game that uses a number of conventions from FPS games such as ammo collection.
Gameplay
APOX is a real-time strategy game that includes gameplay concepts from FPS games, wherein the soldiers in the game can perform varied tasks such as:
- prone and crouch in order to avoid getting hit or to better prepare a shot
- switch active weapons
- throw grenades
- loot corpses for ammo, etc
- share ammo with their squad-mates (soldiers will have limited ammo)
- be placed in vehicles, allowing the player to create their own unit designs
Despite all this, APOX still plays very much like a Real-Time Strategy game, and managing your structures and resources is still key to achieve victory over your opponents.
