Overview
AER: Memories of Old is an open-world adventure game with a strong focus on aesthetics, exploration, and narrative. The player takes on the role of Auk, a girl who can transform into a bird at will. Transformation is effected by a button command in the outdoor open-world sections of the game, in which the player navigates between floating islands; transformation is not possible in indoor locations.
