Overview
Soukou Kihei Votoms is a serial sci-fi anime TV series originally shown between 1983 and 1984 on TV Tokyo. It has received multiple computer and video game adaptations since then, all of which were released exclusively in Japan. These games are often mecha-based shoot 'em ups and simulation games, and many are not unlike the MechWarrior (Franchise) series. It also inspired a few table-top games. The titular Votoms mech has also made several appearances in other games, most notably the crossover series Super Robot Taisen (Franchise).
