Unown is a Pokemon first found in Johto.

Overview

Unown is first introduced as a new species inhabiting the Johto Region within the Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal 'Versions.

Unown is seen as a rather unusual and mysterious figure head both in-game and sometimes holding on to the title of a Legendary Pokémon within the anime series itself. Unown 28 derivative and independent forms in and of itself. Each different form is based upon the appearance from the letters of the Latin Alphabet, including the punctuation marks (! & ?).
